If you want to have a big impact, you have to step up in big ways. Quinn Harwood is someone who gets that, and lives by it every day in his business. His vision is to impact 1 MILLION people with his message! Even though he’s only been in the Eagles community since 2020, Quinn is already stepping up to the plate in our group in ways that are serving his fellow Eagles and helping him reach his goals. I want to share Quinn’s story with you today to help show you the power of taking action. It’s not enough just to clarify our purpose or mission and set goals. We also have to, like Quinn, step up and ACT!
Quinn’s mission is to help business professionals that are millennials and in generation Z.
As he told us, he wants to provide “encouragement, motivation and challenges” for his clients that can lead to the “shifts, changes and transformation they are truly desiring” in their lives. Right now he’s coaching clients one on one, but he’s already looking forward to launching group programs and courses to reach more people.
If you’re wondering what Quinn’s secret is to being confident and willing to step forward with his business, he told us that, “it starts with living out your own message.” If you want to inspire and serve others, you have to walk the walk yourself. If you want to help people take action in their lives, you have to take action yourself.
“Our best life comes from impacting others with our gifts and talents”
Quinn has really done that in our Eagles community. He’s been a leader on our Eagles Connection calls, and really been a key contributor to our group. In fact, he is leading one of our Eagles Nests this session, “Breaking through Belief Barriers to Crush Your Goals (life, leadership, or business).” He told us he realized that, “At all levels of community there is a tipping point of being a consumer versus a contributor. Staying as a consumer will never satisfy or result in an individual reaching their maximum potential or impacting others. Our best life comes from impacting others with our gifts and talents.”
I love Quinn’s outlook here, because he’s really showing the power of spreading the wealth. Whether you’re just starting your journey of building the work and life you love, or you’re building off of work and experience you already have, you shouldn’t do it alone. There are people out there, like Quinn, who can help you and support you. And, there are also people out there who can benefit from the help and support YOU can provide!
The Power of Community and Having the Right Network
Quinn told us that finding community has been integral to his success because he can “gain support, connect with like-minded individuals, and work through processes and systems that would best support the vision.” I really want to highlight that last one, because being able to bounce ideas off other people and think alongside others is essential not just to taking action, but to taking the right actions. As Quinn said, “constantly seeking feedback from trusted sources—that will give you pushback—has been helpful to continue to craft the mission and find creative ways to bring it to life.”
And Quinn’s business, GrowthTime, is proof of that! He’s been able to help so many young entrepreneurs realize their passions and get on the road to success—and he’s on his way to reaching his goal of impacting 1 million people! Even though that’s a big goal, Quinn says it all still boils down to the personal. In his life, he says that “without fail, the biggest support is following the head coach, God himself, and staying connected to his strategy and plans.”
For his clients and communities, it’s also about the personal. One key to Quinn’s mission is to recognize that “to engage people they must be broken down into small groups” where each person can go deep with who they are, their passions, and their path. He says, “growth occurs where people can connect. They just need structure and mechanism to do so. Connection was and is the solution.”
If you’re sitting on some goals and dreams, I encourage you this week to connect with your support networks and take action. We all have a purpose and a mission in life, but not everyone takes the steps to fulfill that. Quinn is someone who is taking those steps, and you can too!
