The 48 Days Team

Meet the Team

While 48 Days has shifted since Dan has “Graduated” from this lifetime, the vision and mission of creating a life you love continues with his daughter Ashley Logsdon and her “soul sister” Sheila Davis.

We believe the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us, and that’s why we’ve worked hard to be clear on our specific strengths and how we incorporate the 48 Days legacy into work that truly aligns with our passions.

Dan Miller

Our beloved founder was diagnosed with advanced stage pancreatic cancer in December of 2023. Exactly 48 days from the first MRI, he passed away at home with his family surrounding him, embraced in love for his next “Grand Adventure.” You can read more about his legacy and a tribute to him here

Dan Miller, President of 48 Days LLC, specialized in creative thinking for increased personal and business success. He believed meaningful work blended our natural skills and abilities, our unique personality traits and our dreams and passions. Dan was active in helping individuals redirect careers, evaluate new income sources, and achieve balanced living. He believed that a clear sense of direction can help us become all that God designed us to be.

Dan was the author of the widely acclaimed 48 Days To The Work – and Life – You Love, No More Dreaded Mondays, Wisdom Meets Passion and An Understanding Heart. He hosted a weekly podcast that was consistently ranked #1 under Careers on iTunes. Dan was also a frequent speaker at conferences including Social Media Marketing World, Podcast Movement, New Media Europe, Launch and his own 48 Days Events. He also had an online community with over 1,100 active “Eaglepreneurs”! You can join the free Eagles FB group here

Dan and his wife of almost 56 years, Joanne, lived in Osprey, Florida, where they enjoy old car shows, long walks on the beach, and plenty of time for art and creativity. They have three grown children, along with 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all across the country from Florida to Colorado to California.

Here’s an interview of Dan by his oldest son, Kevin. Kevin hosts the Ziglar Show and did this interview on his Motive podcast. Kevin obviously knew some questions to ask to dig deeply into Dan’s choices that brought him to where he is today.

Tune in to this episode of the 48 Days podcast to hear all three of Dan’s children (Kevin, Jared & Ashley) share about their choices on Education and Career Choices. With only one going to college, there were a variety of schooling and work options they chose.

Ashley Logsdon

She’s the daughter of Dan and Joanne, Chief Inspiration Officer, Relationship Coach and Head of Operations at 48 Days, and marriage/family coach at Mama Says Namaste . Ashley has spent over 25 years focused on coaching in the 48 Days organization, referring clients to 48 Days Certified Coaches and speaking/coaching on DISC Personality Profiles. She was also the Dean of Relationships/Family in the 48 Days Eagles community.

In this new season of life, her role as a Relationships Coach has spanned both business and personal as she works with individuals on both sides. At the core of it all is first implementing a powerful tool she calls the “language of empathy” and awareness that allows for more grace and connection – with yourself and others.

She’s used these strategies to help bring families together, motivate entrepreneurs with their side-hustles and expansions, and helped to clarify and refine an overall vision with someone so they create they life they don’t want to escape from.

She’s an insanely optimistic unschooling mama to three, gung-ho to take life by the horns and learn from it!

She and her husband Nathan (and their three daughters) RV’d the States full time for 8 years, and have recently settled in Sarasota, FL on a family farm with her mother, creating another Haven of Peace together.

For over 340 episodes, Nathan and Ashley shared about awareness, intention, and thriving in the present moment with family on the Mama Says Namaste weekly podcast.

Sheila Davis

As the Marketing Manager at 48 Days, Sheila helps share the 48 Days message via emails, the weekly newsletter, the podcast, blogs, the website, social media, and more. She loves helping tell the unique story of 48 Days and helping 48 Days listeners and readers locate the resources they need to find or create work and a life they love. Sheila also helps facilitate the 48 Days Eagles Community by connecting them with the resources in the group via weekly emails and the group’s online community, Mighty Networks.

Sheila provides marketing strategy, support and coaching to a variety of businesses. She lives in Hendersonville, TN, with her wonderful husband of over 30 years and their two cats. They are enjoying the empty nest stage of life as their amazingly talented daughter is rocking it getting her PhD.

Robert Staddon

Robert Staddon has been building websites as an entrepreneur for over 15 years. He taught desktop publishing and design in Indianapolis before launching his own website design business, Abundant Designs LLC, in 2008.

After joining the 48 Days team, as our Web Development Manager, his goal has been to keep the online platforms running smoothly and working together effectively. He assists the team in keeping 48 Days up-to-speed with the best online technologies for efficient communication. When he’s not rolling out updates or handling training calls, he enjoys digging through code to identify and resolve technical issues.

Robert lives in Big Sandy, TX with his wife Kendalyn and their six children. If you can’t find him pushing pixels around a computer screen, he’s probably seated at the piano “tickling the ivories”, playing strategy games with his very competitive wife and kids, or outside enjoying the fresh air and pretending like he knows something about grilling.

Joanne Miller

Joanne has been coaching writers, editing, proofreading, and endorsing books for decades. She has authored Creating a Haven of Peace, Be Your Finest Art, and five children’s books.

Along with her husband, Dan Miller, they held Write to the Bank workshops for years, speaking and challenging prospective authors to follow their hearts and bring the book that swirled around in their heads to life.

As our Writer’s Advocate in the Eagle’s Alliance community, she believes each one of us is born creative in some form. We must believe in ourselves and tap into our creative nature in order to feel truly fulfilled. Creativity comes in many forms, and tapping into our God-given skills makes us more interesting to be around, allowing us to live fulfilled lives.

She thanks God for the 58 years I knew her husband Dan, stating he was the wisest man she ever knew. She is blessed with three amazing adult children (all are writers) and their families, which include 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren…and her cat, Kitty Scarlet. You can see more of her art and connect with her here.

She was an honoree of SU’s Writer’s Distinction Program.

Her first novel, Catherine’s Dream: A Story of Spirit and Courage, was inspired by her grandmother’s immigration journey from Poland to America in 1921. It has been celebrated for its historical depth and uplifting message about overcoming adversity and pursuing one’s dreams. The book was a CNY Book Awards Finalist.

Roxanne is passionate about writing, event planning, connecting people with resources, and helping authors achieve their personal and professional goals.
