Dan, thanks so much for answering my question on beards and facial hair! Appreciate it. Great thoughts … and I will be rethinking whether or not to keep my beard. 🙂
Kent – that was fun. And I’ve got a whole lot of people thinking it seems. I had people send me articles that Disney now allows facial hair on employees – and lots more things like that. Obviously, still an individual decision. Thanks for the fun question.
Oh my gosh Dan, I just keep hearing VIA the 48 Days community about how folks are using Amazon, Ebay and other avenues to make extra cash, and doing quite well too! How tempting. I love what I do at TDOT, but the money isn’t that great and I do have really good work hours that would allow me to do extra things. So maybe…… Humm! 🙂
Archie – you are so right. There are so many opportunities in the online world today. Check out my links to Jim Cockrum’s stuff – he’s the guy in that space.
Dan, your discussion about the companies no longer requiring degrees has brought to mind two emerging ideas:
1. Mark Cuban talks thoughtfully about the impending College Student Loan bubble here:
2. Also, the idea of a “Gap Year” where High School grads head off with an agency/business of some kind and works/serves either locally or globally while also earning college credits. The idea is taking root with a lot of 13-18 year olds (and their parents) as a way to experience the world, work and is not nearly as expensive as a year of the average College.
Scott – yeah, we’re going to see some massive changes in the world of “education” in the next few years. What a broken system. Thanks for your input.
Hi Dan, great show! Just wondering about Aimee, the pharmacist. Can you (or she) expand on her success with Amazon? I have dabbled in some Amazon sales but would love to learn more from her. Thanks as always for all of the inspiration!
