Unwelcome Challenges Often Bring Innovation
It took longer to get to the Promised Land than expected and some of the children of Israel wanted to go back to the miserable lives they had previously. Episode #780 June 04, 2021
Hi this is Dan Miller – and yes you’re listening to the 48 Days Radio show – where each week we take 48 minutes to dive into real-life questions about finding your passion, deciding what kind of life you want to live – and then finding or creating work that allows you to show up every day, excited to be able to do something that is meaningful, fulfilling – and profitable. This is where normal, indecision and ambiguity come to die. Welcome to the 48 Days Radio Show.
What idea do you have that you have not acted on?
What do you miss about the old normal?
Are you pining away for the old normal or leaning into the new challenges to innovate and make something better than before. Here are a few stories of people who leaned in for the better:
- Van Phillips who lost his leg in a water skiing accident and developed a new prosthetic leg
- Reed Hastings who was charged $40 for returning a movie late and created Netflix
- 3 guys who couldn’t pay their rent and ended up founding AirBnB
How are you investing in yourself to prepare for more success?
Is being comfortable keeping you from your $1,000,000 idea?
