If you’re having trouble accomplishing your goals or doing what you need to do to success, perhaps you haven’t yet found your passion.
Hi this is Dan Miller – and yes you’re listening to the 48 Days Radio show – where each week we take 48 minutes to dive into real life questions about finding your passion, deciding what kind of life you want to live – and then finding or creating work that allows you to show up every day, excited to be able to do something that is meaningful, fulfilling – and profitable. This is where normal, indecision and ambiguity come to die. Welcome to the 48 Days Radio Show.

4. I’m sending out my resume and almost never get any response.
5. Our son graduated debt free and then went on a missions trip for two years.

It’s amazing what can happen when we change or help someone change their mindset and inspire them. Great job Denver Dayworks!

13:00 – Jeremy says “I know what I want and how to get there but I don’t have the discipline and passion to make it happen.” Dan says if you’re hitting a dead end with your entrepreneur goals, you may need to re-evaluate your passion for what you’re doing.

Charging for Services and Monetizing Your Skillset
24:03 – Benny asks for advice on how to believe in his own value and stop giving people discounts.
31:41 – Vera asks for ideas on how to monetize her skills in writing, asking questions and coaching. Dan shares several including creating a community where people are on the same path can share together, like the 48 Days Eagles Community. Creating a community may be more important than creating content.
36:07 – Dan also shares with Vera some resources for repackaging content for sale on Amazon, including Aaron Kerr’s Course: Publishing in the Public Domain and Ryan Reger’s experiences.
What’s Wrong With My Resume?
38:07 – Eric sent Dan his resume and asked him to review it because he’s not getting any responses when he sends it out. Dan says his resume is very well done, but the resume is only 10% of the process. He recommends Eric look at the 3-Step Process outlined on page 145 of 48 Days To The Work You Love.
- Send a letter of introduction
- Send cover letter and resume
- Call to follow-up
This will get results 1 out of 14 times, so if you follow it with 14 companies, you should get at least one response.
44:43 – As we end the first month of the new year, this is a great time to do a checkpoint on your goals. How are you doing?
