The Power of Belief

This week I received the most amazing testimonial story I’ve ever received. Can I buy and sell cars to make money?

I love the idea! You are talking about arbitrage, which is buying something at a good price and selling it at a higher price. I encourage you to do it with something that you know about and really enjoy. If that’s cars for you, you can definitely do that. I used to go to repo sales. To do that, you have to pay cash for the car and register it in your name, thus paying the sales tax on it. This process can also take two to three weeks to get the title from the state. If you’re going to do that (4 or 5 a month), you’ll need to get a dealer license, which comes with other requirements, depending on your state. I recently bought a course called Exotic Car Hacking. I recommend you study a particular kind of car and become very knowledgeable about that kind of car.

Now at 47 I’m ready for a new challenge but not sure how to start again.

At 47, you don’t have to think you have to find one job that you’re going to do for the next 20 years. There should be some consistency of the things that you’re drawn to. Be sure to take time to nurture yourself and your soul. Sometimes it’s in the unstructured times that you find a solution.

I’m a pharmacist but now making money in new ways.

A lot of dentists, doctors, attorneys, and pharmacists feel trapped because of the investment they’ve made in their training. But Donnie is a great example of how you can take that training and expertise and apply it elsewhere.
