Hi, this is Dan Miller – and yes you’re listening to the 48 Days Radio show – where each week we take 48 minutes to dive into real life questions about finding your passion, deciding what kind of life you want to live – and then finding or creating work that allows you to show up every day, excited to be able to do something that is meaningful, fulfilling – and profitable. This is where normal, indecision and ambiguity come to die. Welcome to the 48 Days Radio Show.

How can I keep the fire of my passion from going out while I’m wading through all the details of starting a business?
Many entrepreneurs get stuck in the weeds of starting a business. But you really only need a few simple things to get going, and then you can build from there. If you’re starting a business, keep it simple.Find out more in my blog: How To Become an Entrepreneur
How can I stay ministry focused in growing my coaching business but also grow financially?
We are talking about this topic a lot in the 48 Days Eagles Community this month. There are so many Eagles who have a heart for ministry. But that doesn’t mean you can’t thrive financially. We’ve had both Jevonnah Ellison and Scott Beebe on our Monday Mentor Trainings, and they both discuss this issue. My advice: Don’t assume your target audience can’t pay what you’re worth. Hold your head high, price your services based on what your’e worth and you’ll have people line up.Find out more in my blog: How (and Why) To Become a Life Coach
How can I grow my business when I have no time for prospecting?
This is a very common issue among entrepreneurs. How to keep your pipeline full so you don’t experience the “entrepreneurial roller coaster.” In my 15 hours a week formula, which you can expand incrementally based on the number of hours you spend on your business, I recommend you spend 20% of your time marketing your business each week so you don’t get caught at the end of a big project with no prospects for the future. How do I stay motivated while I’m waiting to leave my job?
No one wants to be a lame duck employee for very long. If you’re starting a side business, you should be ready to exit your day job 90-180 days from starting something new, unless you decide your side business is only going to be a hobby, which there is nothing wrong with. But once you’ve made the decision to leave your day job, 30 days is a maximum I would stay, as long as you can give your employer your 100% during your work hours.Resources:
