I don’t offer free coaching because I need the money; it’s because you need the investment. Things that are free are not valued. In this episode I outline why you should invest 3% of your income back into your personal growth, and why I do the same.

Questions:
I am living out my dream exactly as I described it ten years ago but… I am bored out of my mind.
Spoken like a true entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are often looking for change, challenge, and variety. I’ve learned myself that I need to anticipate change on a regular bases. My advice is not to fight it, just understand it, and know that you can transfer 90% of the skills you have in running a business to a new opportunity. It’s very healthy to go ahead and take a clear look at yourself again and make a plan for your next three years. As yourself, “If we were meeting three years from today, what has to have happened during that three-year period (personally and professionally) for you to feel happy about your progress.Do you have any advice for how to transition from pastor to self-employed and know what value to expect?

If it’s speaking for instance, check out our Eagles Dean of Speaking, Kent Julian’s resources. A great resource for you is EntrePastors with Les Hughes and Jon Sanders.Would you ever consider a free coaching session or discounted coaching sessions?
The key to growing your income is growing yourself — investing in yourself. Listen in to this clip from Tony Robbins that drives home this principle that we need to make the investment ourselves, otherwise we won’t value it and it won’t make a difference in our lives. We do have a coaching package inside our Eagles Community that is very inexpensive. You can find out more about it here. Find out how to invest 3-5% of your income in yourself. I expect people to get a 10X return on anything they invest in with 48 Days. What are the three things you’re already doing to invest in your own personal growth? It’s so much easier to steer a moving car than one that is locked in park. Even in my Food for Thought lunches I’m having, I’m looking for folks who are already in the game and doing things. Find out more here. Now, don’t get me wrong. I do offer many resources for free as my way of giving back.Quotation:
