Questions:

How do I create the Right Mindset, find the Right Idea, and connect with the Right Community?

If you have those three things in place in your life, you are unstoppable.

I got my master’s in Library Science but have never found library work. It seems like doors are being slammed in my face.

80% of college graduates are working in something totally unrelated to their college degree 10 years after graduation. Follow your curiosity. Curiosity leads to passion.

Immobilized by fear. I find that I am stuck when it comes to getting new clients. Isn’t everyone?

When we sell anything to anybody, there’s four steps in the process.

1. Rapport and Trust – 40%
2. Identifying the Need – 30%
3. Project Knowledge and Presentation – 20%
4. Closing the Sale – 10%

Look at how you can build rapport and trust with people if you’re looking for more clients. I have an established presence as a coach, but I’m trying to figure out how to build an effective outbound strategy. If you’re a coach, don’t just work with everybody. It will burn you badly to do that. People will end up resenting you. Make sure you choose to work with someone who fits your client avatar.

What about those of us who don’t have a community?

Mindset – you can change your mindset If you don’t have an idea, you can access lists of ideas to find those that match what you know about yourself If you don’t have a community, plug into one. That’s our goal here is to connect people in community.

I’m 54 and feel like I’m quickly approaching too old to change things.

At 54, you’re not too old to make a change! Many people at this age decide they’re going into an encore career or starting their own business. I’m afraid to start a side business while I’m working full-time because I don’t want to take away from my family obligations. You want to be sure you don’t borrow success from other areas of your life. That’s why I use 15 hours per week as the sweet spot for time to invest in starting a business. Or you can spend 90 days where you spend 30 hours on your business, sacrificing other areas for a short burst of time.

How can I grow my detailing business gradually?

Use the concept of economies of scale. Go to a business complex where there are more customers in one place.

I’m stuck between knowing and believing I can accomplish my goals.

This takes us back to mindset. You can’t be successful without the right mindset. You are in the driver’s seat on this one. We become what we think about. Acknowledging where you are — that you have a limited mindset — is half the solution.

I don’t have the money to pay for a consultant or coach

That’s a mindset issue. That’s not a reality. If you don’t invest in yourself, chances are really strong that three years from now your life is going to look very much like it does now.

I’ve never been self employed so I’m not sure how to set up taxes, licensure and legal stuff

Those things are not that complicated to get started. We have those resources readily available in the Eagles Community. We have mentors ready and waiting to help you with those kinds of things.

I don’t seem to have the backbone to break from job and go into business for myself

You can create as soft a transition as you want. We have many 48 Days Eagles who start a side business and duplicating their current income before they quit their job.

He started selling one physical product online, and has grown that to double the income he has from his full-time job. He shared how he selected a product, how he stands out among competitors, and how he grows his business every day. He also shared outsources the product fulfillment, online advertising, update his website. etc. His Monday Mentor Training, in addition to all of our past trainings are available inside the Eagles Community for members to listen to later as well.

Consider this: would you be open to paying $377/year if it opened the door to making an extra $150,000 a year? That’s the power of investing in yourself.
