Why are people continuing to quit their jobs?

It’s not just folks on the line who are quitting their jobs. CEOs are joining The Great Resignation in record numbers as they face many supply and workforce issues with the economy.

What is Beyonce doing to cause even more women to quit?

Beyonce recently released her new song, “Break My Soul,” inspiring people, especially women, to take control. It has inspired many to quit their jobs, no longer be vulnerable to the economy and take control. We are now in the eleventh month where more than 4 million Americans have left their jobs each month. Now that doesn’t mean that unemployment has gone up. It’s actually gone down. Each month, we’ve had 6 million plus new hires. This speaks to a movement where people are no longer going to be so vulnerable and be so loyal to companies who are not showing loyalty back. There is a study that shows that one in four women are contemplating leaving the workplace or downshifting their career this year.

How can you take any skill you have and make a list of 20 ways to make money.

One way to not be so vulnerable to the economy or a specific company is to look at other ways to make money behind a job. There is a new list out, 50 Legal Ways to Make Extra Money This Month. Here are a few new and interesting ones:

Use your extra space, earning passive income by allowing people to use your garage or other spaces for people to store their belongings
Take surveys on your phone
Work with Door Dash to deliver food. Some people are making $500 to $600 a week delivering for Door Dash
Be a mystery shopper, drinker or diner
Be a mock juror
Rent out your old baby gear for people who are traveling with kids

I often recommend that people commit to their side business for 15 hours a week until they are earning 50% of what you’re getting in full-time work. Then it’s often easier to have the confidence to make your side business full-time. The most powerful you have at your disposal to make money is to look inward and your own skills and abilities, values, dreams and passions and personality traits. I recommend you start there and develop a list of 20 things you can do that fit into your unique skills and passions. What are some questions you get asked about? If three people ask you about something, I recommend you consider creating a course or a product around it to help answer their question. One of the key characteristics of high performers is that they spend time with people who are already performing at the level they want to perform. Here is a full list of 10 characteristics I have come up with over time:
