- Be VERY careful about sabotaging something that’s working for you

- This is the problem with government work, with the system—it’s not true for everybody, but it is true for a lot of people
- If you can get your job done in 20 hours—are you willing to be paid for only 20 hours? Or are you trying to get 40 hours of pay from 20 hours of work?
- In government it is incredibly cumbersome to excise the accurate value of work done
