It’s interesting how we see different forms of working around the world:
Socialism ……… If you have two cows, you’re expected to give your neighbor one.
Communism…….. If you have two cows, you give them to the government and the government gives you a small quantity of milk.
Rising forces in Mideast……… If you have two cows, the government shoots you and keeps both cows.
Government Support Program……. If you have two cows, you shoot one, milk the other and pour the milk down the drain.
Welfare………… You don’t own any cows or do any milking but still get free milk.
Employee……… You don’t own any cows – you just milk them and get paid for your time.
Capitalism…….. If you have two cows, you sell one and buy a bull.
Entrepreneurship……… If you have two cows, you sell the milk and buy two more cows.
I’m thankful we can make our choices about the plan we choose.
I’m thankful as well!
The Public School: You have two cows, the cow who expends the least amount of effort gets all the attention by the other farmers, while required Farmer Development comes in and condescendingly tells you that you hate cows because you express concern for the able and/or willing cow whose potential is being criminally ignored. Then sentences you to Cow Sensitivity Training to eliminate your “hatred” and “criticism” of farm life. Although your cow plans are superior, you are labeled Disrespectful and Non-inclusive, even though they were being non-inclusive in the first place with the able/or willing cow. But because stupid people proliferate in Public School Farm Life, the farmer who defends the able/willing cow subjects himself to a life of ridicule, which is the last and only weapon of ignoramuses against the competent. E-I-E-I-O.
Ouch – the analogy goes deeper.
I’ll take entrepreneurshp!
Greetings Dan,
Enter the creative problem solver who is bold and questions long standing ineffective processes. The over regulated government run milking operation is failing yet he is described as not being a team player and not fitting in. Fortunately, in our great country we have choices. The creative starts his own milking operation and crushes it!
Thanks,
Paul – absolutely. Thankfully we have the option to start our own system and do it better.
The American … You don’t own cows, or if you do, you get a mortgage on each of them. You sell the milk to pay on your debt payments, just staying ahead of the collectors. Eventually you are forced to sell the cows, and become a wage-slave milking them. You stay in debt your entire life, making the Capitalist very happy.
Thankful for choices.
