Dan, What is your health regiment? What vitamins do you use to give you energy and endurance?
There is nothing that has contributed to my success more than how I treat the first 90 minutes of my day. I don’t skip on sleep. I don’t set an alarm clock. I wake up when I’m fully rested.
I express gratitude aloud for the life that I have. That helps me get started.
I spend 20 minutes of quiet meditation and contemplative prayer.
I exercise then shower and am ready for what the day brings.
I don’t spend any of that first 90 minutes watching TV, listening to news, social media, etc.
I am very consistent about the vitamins I take:
- Optimal Multi (multi-vitamin)
- K2D3 (Vitamin D)
- Ortho Omega
My younger brother is living his dreams and I feel pretty terrible because I am not.
If you have a lot of student loan debt, your best bet is to quit the job with a meager salary and look at other options where you can earn more money.
You can’t do your best if you go to work with a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach.
I always choose the option that has no guarantee, no benefits but also no ceiling.
Sometimes it’s better to just hold your head high and walk out.
I am trying to pick a new career. Should I take an aptitude test?
We recommend the DISC Profile. It will give you a list of careers that are a match for your personality.
But I want to caution you about only looking at aptitude or personality assessments.
I recommend that you get a great coach to help you look at the bigger picture.

Start with the things that you already know about and enjoy.
I cannot imagine living a life where work isn’t the highest priority and use of my time!
