We all get to decide what we say “Yes” to. And to stay where you are miserable and where your “soul is crying for a change” likely grieves God as it would any father to see one of his children suffer so. I doubt He’ll see the need to punish you as you are already suffering the consequences of those choices.

Hi this is Dan Miller – and yes you’re listening to the 48 Days Radio show – where each week we take 48 minutes to dive into real life questions about finding your passion, deciding what kind of life you want to live – and then finding or creating work that allows you to show up every day, excited to be able to do something that is meaningful, fulfilling – and profitable. This is where normal, indecision and ambiguity come to die. Welcome to the 48 Days Radio Show.
Questions:
I have no passion. I live to exist, to put it bluntly. I am successful for my career path and totally miserable. I am blessed beyond belief and can barely meet each day. I am scared to death that God will judge my discontent
Is there some guidance you have that we can help our children discover how God has uniquely gifted them and how we can help them excel in this area?
Do your principles to finding or creating work your love work under Communism?
All online businesses are spammy. Should I just stick to my traditional job?

One of the features of communism not mentioned – there is no “quitting’ in communism. If the state assigns you a job and you hate it, too bad so sad. Unemployment in communist countries is considered a crime, and the unemployed are enemies of the people. After all, “the people” (a euphemism for the government) feed you, clothe you and house you. If you don’t give your labor to “the people” then you are a thief. And just as they are in every other society, thieves are punished – “the people” put you into a “reeducation camp” and make you productive, one way or another.
