I Can Predict Your Future

No, I’m not a psychic, fortune teller or prophet.  I can’t see into your mind and I don’t need to know your history, your degrees or your family.

All I need to do is spend a day with you and:

  • Listen to what you say (and)
  • Watch what you do

Your words and your actions will tell me exactly where you are going to be five years from now.

One of our 48 Days Coaches just had a conversation with an old friend of his who predicted what his day would hold —  as they parted he said:  “I’d better to see who won’t hire me today.” What do you think he will experience in the workplace?  His expectations that we are in a recession, everyone is laying off and no companies are hiring will be confirmed by the words he is speaking in advance.

I ran into a guy in Best Buy who said he had downloaded my 48 Low-Cost Business Ideas.  Then he added, “But I’m a technology guy so none of those would work for me.”  That list links to another 1000 ideas, but he’s absolutely right.  None of those will work for him.

The Bible is clear about the power of our words.  Check this out from The Message: It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell.” James 3:4-6

Your life five years from now will not be determined by the economy, the political climate, luck, your education, the lottery or your astrological sign.

What kind of future are your words and actions creating?
