I’ve committed to have a new manuscript for 48 Days to the Work You Love to my publisher by June 1st – for a January 2014 release. The original came out in 2005 and I did a light update in 2010. It’s time for a major update to reflect the changing workplace and the incoming surge of Gen X and Y with their new work habits. The book continues to do extremely well and the market is asking for more content. We’ll be producing new seminar materials, online videos and support for the ongoing wave of those seeking work they love.
And here’s where you come in. I’d like you to be part of my research team. Many of you are great at sending me relevant articles and suggestions for ideas to pass along. I need your help to address the changing workplace.
The basic concepts of looking inward to see how God has uniquely wired and gifted each of us will remain largely the same. But the application for how we find or create meaningful work has changed. What do you think needs to be addressed – and how – in the new version of 48 Days to the Work You Love.
I’ll select 100 of the best ideas and reward you with a brand new copy when they are released in January. So let er rip –
Ideas, articles, suggestions, resources for ????
- The impact of education and degrees in today’s workplace
- Job search tactics
- Interviewing tips
- Salary negotiation
- Second careers
- Retirement issues
- New models of work (free-lance, independent contractors, temps, etc.)
- Small vs large companies
Just provide your suggestions, articles, tips, etc. here. As always, thanks so much for being part of this amazing community of those committed to finding – or creating – work that is meaningful, purposeful and profitable.
