We Still Have Choices
We didn’t choose these circumstances. We didn’t choose this time in history. We didn’t choose our family tree. We didn’t get to choose those – but we do get to choose HOW we live.
We can choose to live well in spite of what’s happening. People throughout history have lived through plagues, economic depressions, and weather disasters. They survived and thrived. So can we.
Let’s talk about the choices we can make.Episode #721 April 10, 2020
Hi this is Dan Miller – and yes you’re listening to the 48 Days Radio show – where each week we take 48 minutes to dive into real life questions about finding your passion, deciding what kind of life you want to live – and then finding or creating work that allows you to show up every day, excited to be able to do something that is meaningful, fulfilling – and profitable. This is where normal, indecision and ambiguity come to die. Welcome to the 48 Days Radio Show.
I am currently working a job that I very much do not like. It is very incongruent to what I believe are some of my giftings. But it is a job and it pays the bills.
What way(s) have you found the most effective to kickstart a new business?
I am 60 years old. I have been working at a government job for over 25 years and very rarely have I got to use what I am really good at.
I think I like the idea of my position more than I like do it, but I really want to know what I’m good at and what jobs fit better.
