For more than a decade, 48 Days to the Work You Love has been instrumental in helping people from all walks of life discover or create work they love. Almost daily I hear from people who followed the process and changed their lives.
Earlier this year, my publisher released the tenth anniversary edition of the trade book. It isn’t just a reprinting of the original book; it has approximately 60% brand new content. Since the release of the book, the 48 Days Team has been hard at work redesigning the 48 Days Seminars. I’m excited to announce the release of those materials.
What is the 48 Days Seminar? It is a six-session facilitator-led group encounter with the 48 Days to the Work You Love process. It can be hosted at a church, civic club, business, educational facility, or just about anywhere.
Who are the facilitators? The new seminar process includes a free online facilitator training process. Only trained facilitators can lead the seminar. These people understand the process and know how to get the most out of the group process.
Three Reasons People Need This Message
- Job dissatisfaction is high. Approximately 85% of adult workers plan to look for a new job in the next year. If people are going to look for a new job, they need to understand why they are dissatisfied with their current jobs. That begins with a look inward. The 48 Days process starts there. Every participant receives access to the 48 Days Career Profile—a DISC personality report that will help them discover what makes them tick.
- Modern job search processes are ineffective. Most job seekers search for new jobs using online tools that usually don’t work. In the 48 Days Seminar, job seekers will be guided through a proven process that often lands them job opportunities they never imagined possible.
- People need encouragement and accountability. The 48 Days Seminar will include people from all walks of life with one common goal—a better future. Something amazing happens when people work through this process together. They learn from and are inspired by each other. People can ask questions and work through struggles in the ever strengthening community of trust.
The 48 Days to the Work You Love Seminars include a brand new application guide, new teaching plans, revamped supporting materials, and more. We think it is time to encourage people to look for work that is meaningful, fulfilling, and profitable. If you’d like to be considered as a facilitator, I’d love to connect you with Terry Hadaway – our training director.
