This is a whole new way to look at "work". This course is a motivational workshop that teaches how to identify and secure employment based on his/her skills and abilities, personality, values, dreams and passions-rather than based solely on job history. The workshop teaches thought patterns, behaviors and principles of success using examples from the lives of iconic figures in our culture and history (Henry David Thoreau, Helen Keller, Wayne Gretzky and many others). During the workshop, the student will develop a personal mission statement, a life plan, specific 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, 1-year, 5-year and 10-year goals, and will actually carry out a defined job-search or business start-up process. The course material encourages traditional employment for those who prefer it and entrepreneurship for those who desire self-employment.

"The 48 Days To The Work You Love seminar was a huge hit and a vital need in our church. People are striving for 'Purpose Driven' lives and to be 'Wild At Heart,' yet there is this disconnect with work. Folks spend 8+ hours a day, 5 or more days per week at a job. If it is not part of their calling, there is a rift within their heart. Dan Miller and 48 Days provide a format to connect people's hearts and their work, not to mention their wallets, in a seminar that is nothing short of life altering. We had over 250 in our church participate in the very first seminar and the congregation is pushing for another. This will become a consistent class at our church, and should be at every church. "

We provide a step-by-step guide to understanding the materials laid out in the 48 Days to the Work You Love workbook-you may play a full DVD and allow Dan to "teach" the class, or we provide the materials for a more hands-on approach-tailor this class to be the most effective for your situation.
