Created by one of our own 48 Days Community members Terry Newberry, he created a unique niche with his photography by adding in inspirational quotes – when he sent us this picture, we immediately placed an order for more. This gate is the gate leading to “The Sanctuary” from Dan & Joanne Miller’s house – the path Dan walks every day on his 30-second commute to living out his work/life passions.

In 2009, I was praying about a career change. 20 years as an executive in the telecommunications industry had left me with a strong resume but not much time for investing in others, which I felt led to do.
I read a lot, and love to pick up books that catch my eye. I don’t always get to them right away, so I put them in my library to enjoy later. One day, I saw 48 Days to the Work You Love and it intrigued me. I bought it and put in on the shelf, intending to read it as soon as I was finished with the books I was reading at the time.
As I prayed about direction, I was led to three books; The Four Principles of Success by Laurie Beth Jones, Put Your Dream to the Test by John Maxwell, and 48 Days to the Work You Love, by Dan Miller.
As I read 48 Days, I told my wife that I would love to have the opportunity to meet the author because of his insight and down-to-earth wisdom. Shortly after that I learned about Coaching with Excellence, which I attended. So I not only met Dan, but all of his wonderful family.
So this opportunity far exceeds any monetary or sales interest; I am honored to be associated with a team in whom I believe so strongly.
