How many people really love you?

Here’s a quotation from Warren Buffet:

“I know people who have a lot of money,” he says, “and they get testimonial dinners and hospital wings named after them. But the truth is that nobody in the world loves them. When you get to my age, you’ll measure your success in life by how many of the people you want to have love you, actually do love you. That’s the ultimate test of how you’ve lived your life.”

Aside from God and Jesus and not trying to be cliche, but I have a wonderful wife and three fantastic daughters that love me and I remind myself very often how blessed I am to have those four people. I know there are people who don’t feel that love from their family. That truly is sad.

The love I receive is not based on what I ‘do’, it is based on who I ‘am’. I am loved whether I am a succes in the worlds eye or not. I am loved when I am not perfect and don’t do just the right thing.

What a great thing to be loved!
