Holiness vs Happiness??

Dan, Sometimes I think we focus too much on career and not enough on holiness..  I am happy to just have a job…period…all these career cruises, etc. seem extravagant…especially when we are just trying to have a roof over our head and food to eat. It seems to me that the rich can go on cruises and vacations and seminars to find their “calling” but when do we acknowledge the Lord and thank him even for our basic needs being met? God is MUCH more concerned with our holiness than our happiness.  –  Michelle

What if your passion does not pay?

Play

What if your passion does not pay?
1. Does God care where we live?
2. How do I write a book when I’m citing medical textbooks?
3. Is my “life opportunity” worth more than what a job will pay?
4. Can we share our vision to get sponsors for our ministry?
5. What if your passion does not pay?

Don't be safe

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover.” -  Mark Twain

What are you doing this year that you were afraid to attempt last year?  If you’re doing only the same things – you’ll get the same results.

Do you want this………..?

If you can’t describe what you want, don’t say you never had a chance.

The people who complain the loudest about never having an opportunity in life are usually the ones who have no idea what they really want.  They end up as what Zig Ziglar calls “wandering generalities.”  They aren’t happy where they are but can’t tell you where they want to be.

Use Music and Videos in your presentations

Many of you know that I used the old Bachman–Turner Overdrive (BTO) song Takin’ Care of Business as the intro to my radio show.  Just recently I negotiated a licensing agreement with Sony Music to continue using that same song as the intro and outro for my 48 Days Podcast.

Because of that I have been deluged with questions about licensing music and movie clips.  And yes, we can play with the big boys on this.  You can use movie or music clips to enhance your radio show, podcast, speaking or training presentations.
