Blissfully Ignorant?

Dan, In a recent 48 Days Podcast you related all the negative things you encounter in your morning newspaper, and then commented that it was nothing good to start your day with (I agree).

I also know the great lengths you go through to make sure your mornings are uplifting and your days start out positive.  Have you ever had a person that “kept up on the daily affairs of the world” but came across as depressive claim you were only blissful because you refused to see the world as it was?

I have this problem with my immediate family.  Marc

Marc,  Yep – all the time.  And then I ask myself – would I rather be living their life or mine?

I loved Dan’s longer answer to this on the podcast! That was some really good thoughts! Thank you for sharing them. :) One of the best podcasts of yours I’ve heard in awhile too! :)

I love that answer! It’s funny how people who are miserable seem to give the MOST advise on how to live life. Why would I listen to them? My wife and I are excited about all the new possiblities for our lives and yet when we get a good idea, there’s always someone to say that idea is stupid. But it’s ok…it’ll make success that much sweeter! God Bless!

I would like to listen to the podcast. Does anyone know the date when Dan discussed this?

This reminds me of a conversation I had recently with someone I went to school with.

His words, “I better go see who won’t hire me today.”
